================================================================

The 31st Best O’ North East Treasure Hunter’s Week is scheduled for April 24-28, 2024. This event, #31, will focus on metal detecting in the settlement lands of Hancock, Marlborough, and Harrisville, as well as nearby encampments, taverns, and country estates. Our goal is to responsibly search for and preserve historical relics. Invitations have been extended to Minelab America with Debbie and Stef, Garrett Metal Detectors with Miguel, Amanda, and Gypsy, as well as the Green Mountain Treasure Hunter Brad Marin, and Allyson Cohen from American Digger. “BONE Natural Hunts” typically signifies that nothing has been artificially placed.

BONE week is committed to setting a positive example, encouraging participation in preserving our heritage through hunting and prospecting. By collaborating, sharing ideas, and exploring, we might discover an extraordinary piece of American history from the 1600s or 1700s. Our goal is also to support libraries, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Wounded Warriors, Free Homes for Vets, IOOF Special Olympics, and Toys for Tots with our annual BONE charity raffle. The first prize for 2024 is either $1,000 or two Minelab detectors. Participants who sell $100 worth of raffle tickets will be entered into a draw for cash and prizes. As circumstances may change, please call Streeters at 1-603-876-4443 with any questions. Regular updates are advisable. Note that there are no refunds, only rain checks.

Daily sign-in is at 7:00 AM on weekdays, 7:30 AM on Saturdays, and 9:30 AM on Sundays for the 11:00 AM Sunday one-hour seeded hunt. Participants can find tokens for Spanish silver, gold, sweepstakes tickets, and detectors. The big Sunday hunt is followed by a raffle drawing for two Minelab detectors or $1,000.

A BONE # ID and name badge is required for entry at all events, including meals.

Hunters will be banished if found in the wrong area or leaving a mess.

It is respectful to use headphones when detecting near other hunters.

Hunters must keep a distance from residences and buildings.

Search coils must not exceed 16 inches in width or length.

To minimize land disruption, shovel blades must not be wider than 9 inches.

Please make your advance payment before 12/31/23. Checks should be made payable to PTHHS and mailed to 307 Main St., Marlborough, NH 03455. Alternatively, you can register and purchase raffle tickets online.

.

Children under 16 can hunt for free on Justin’s Saturday when accompanied by a paying parent, although this does not include the Hall of Fame Banquet for kids. For inquiries, contact Streeter’s at 307 Main St, (NH Rt. 101) Marlborough, NH, or call 1-603-876-4443.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, some previously scheduled events and dinners have been altered or cancelled. Payments in BONE are anticipated before the year’s end. Post-December 31st, the cost for BONE will remain at $400 without meals, or $125 per day..
